Cajun Shrimp Pasta Recipe
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. linguine or spaghetti
- 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp. cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper, to taste
- chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
- Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Season shrimp with cajun seasoning.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
- Add heavy cream to skillet and bring to a simmer. Whisk in parmesan cheese until melted and sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Season sauce with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat with sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- salt and pepper, to taste
- parmesan cheese, for garnish

- Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, if using, and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
- Add white wine to skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat with sauce. Add chopped parsley and toss to combine.
- Divide pasta among plates and top with parmesan cheese, if desired.
