Pasta is one of my all-time favorite dishes! It's quick, easy, and always delicious. Plus, with so many different types of pasta and sauces to choose from, you can never get bored. Today, I'm excited to share with you two of my go-to shrimp pasta recipes - both can be made in under 20 minutes! First up, we have a 20 Minute Pasta With Shrimp. This recipe is perfect for those busy weeknights when you don't have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen. To start, you'll need: Ingredients: -1 lb linguine -1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp -4 cloves garlic, minced -1/4 tsp red pepper flakes -1/4 cup white wine -1/4 cup chicken broth -1/4 cup heavy cream -1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese -2 tbsp chopped parsley -2 tbsp olive oil -Salt and pepper, to taste Instructions: 1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water. 2. While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside. 3. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes to the same skillet, and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. 4. Add the white wine and chicken broth to the skillet, and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes. 5. Add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese to the skillet, and stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy. 6. Add the cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet, and toss to coat in the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add some of the reserved pasta water to thin it out. 7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and top with chopped parsley. Now onto our second recipe, Simple Shrimp Pasta. This recipe has minimal ingredients, but packs a ton of flavor. Here's what you'll need: Ingredients: -12 oz linguine -4 tbsp butter -1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp -4 cloves garlic, minced -2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice -2 tbsp chopped parsley -Salt and pepper, to taste Instructions: 1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water. 2. While the pasta cooks, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside. 3. Add the garlic to the same skillet, and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. 4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, along with the lemon juice and chopped parsley. Toss to coat the pasta in the buttery, garlicky sauce. 5. Add the cooked shrimp to the skillet, and toss everything together. If the sauce seems too thick, add some of the reserved pasta water to thin it out. 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve hot.
