Penne Pasta with Delicious Tomato Sauce
There’s nothing quite like a plate of hearty pasta to lift your spirits, and this Penne Pasta recipe with ground beef in delicious tomato sauce is sure to hit the spot. You can easily whip up this dish in 30 minutes with these easy-to-follow instructions.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Penne Pasta
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 4 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 Can (28 oz.) Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 Tsp Sugar
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Black Pepper
- Olive Oil
- Parsley
- Parmesan Cheese, grated (optional)
Instructions:
- Boil penne pasta in a large pot of salted water until firm to the bite.
- In a saucepan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Next, add ground beef and cook for 7 to 10 minutes until browned.
- Add crushed tomatoes, salt, sugar, and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer for about 20 minutes or until it thickens.
- Drain the pasta and add it to the saucepan, stirring well.
- Sprinkle parsley and grated parmesan cheese on top.
