Hey all you foodies out there! Today I'm sharing a delicious and hearty recipe that will satisfy your taste buds and leave you feeling satisfied. It's a Pasta Bake with Ground Beef, Ricotta & Spinach, and I guarantee it will become a household favorite.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 1 pound of pasta
- 1 bag of spinach
- 1 cup of ricotta cheese
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it's browned and cooked through. Add the onions and garlic and cook until they're softened.
4. Add the can of diced tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir to combine. Let the mixture cook for 5-10 minutes, until it's heated through and the flavors have combined.
5. Add the spinach to the skillet and cook until it's wilted.
6. In a separate bowl, combine the ricotta cheese with salt and pepper to taste.
7. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, add a layer of the cooked pasta. Spread half of the ricotta cheese mixture over the pasta. Add half of the ground beef and spinach mixture over the ricotta, then sprinkle with half of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
8. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients, ending with a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese.
9. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
This pasta bake is a crowd-pleaser and perfect for family dinners or potlucks. The ground beef and spinach mixture is packed with flavor, while the ricotta cheese adds a creamy and rich texture. And let's not forget about the melted mozzarella cheese on top, which adds the perfect amount of gooeyness to the dish. Trust me, you'll want seconds!
